I'm a little disappointed that barely anyone took advantage of the Christmas gift feature - I had maybe two or three people send in deviations. Next time I'll try to advertise more

Things may slow down a bit for the club, school is about to start up again and it's a very busy time for me. I will still be checking in when I have time, but please don't get mad if the journals with accepted submission features go to just one or two a month.

If you have any ideas for the next contest please share! I would love to put another one on this spring/summer.

Also please remember that just watching the club does not make you a member - you need to send me a note saying you wish to join!

The Autumn Contest is officially closed. Me and the two other judges, ~Naraika and =leocbrito, are very close to deciding the 1st and 2nd place winners, and the people's choice polls (find group 1 here and group 2 here) will be closing within a matter of hours - they will closing between now and 11:59pm EST (I'm with my family for Christmas Eve and can't set an exact time for the polls to close, I'm really sorry guys!!) - so get your votes in ASAP! So now that the club has gotten a Christmas present I want to give you all a present as well. I've decided that for the remainder of December I'm going to change the submission procedure.

Starting now, and going till December 30th, you may submit three deviations per day. And I will feaure every single one at the end of the month (December 31st). I am hoping that this will result in everyones work getting a bit more attention and Holiday love, and perhaps persuade some new members to join our group. I'd also love it if when you submit your deviations you could tell me one thing that is going well with the club that you enjoy, and one thing that you think could be added/improved upon in the coming new year.
